FIELD
A recent graduate of Springfield College in Springfield, Massachusetts, Zach has a desire to see college students experience Christ's love and grace in their lives. He’s been appointed to work with Campus Ambassadors at Worcester State University and Nichols College in central Massachusetts.
Zach wants to be a light on campus by serving, counseling, leading small groups, and teaching others about God's grace and love. His vision and goal is to eventually begin a Campus Ambassadors college ministry in western Massachusetts, where students can be a part of a loving Christian community as well as get involved in local churches and ministries.
FAITH
Zach grew up in a Christian home. His parents served as directors of the AWANA club program at his church. At the age of 5 he put his faith in Christ and was baptized in the second grade.
He continued to attend Sunday school, AWANA, and youth group until entering college. His senior year is when he made his faith his own. It was during a week-long mission trip to Ohio when he felt God revealing himself and calling him personally to grow deeper in their relationship. He began reading the Bible and pursuing his relationship with God at that time.
Throughout college Zach served in his church in the AWANA program and youth group, and was also involved in the college ministry. In March 2011, after hearing Joe Shea, Campus Ambassadors Area Director, give a talk at his church, Zach felt God calling him to minister to college students. God totally opened the door and led him to commit himself to that ministry. His desire is to see students experience the life-changing power of God and to see them grow in their relationships with God, and with other brothers and sisters in Christ.
FAMILY
Zach is the oldest child in his family. He has two younger sisters, Tiffany and Gretchen; a younger brother, Troy; and a family dog, Cooper. His father is a computer analyst and his mother is a math teacher in the Springfield school system.
