FIELD
Matt, a recent graduate of Houghton College, has a desire to see transformations in the lives of college students. He will be working at Worcester State University. His responsibilities and passions include leading praise and worship, leading Bible studies, and spreading the gospel to a generation of students who desperately need it!  

Matt will be in training at first, while also serving as a campus minister.  He will be discipling students, training them to be leaders, and sharing the love of Christ with them.

FAITH
Growing up in a strong Christian home, Matt attended church his entire life, leading worship for much of it. Throughout his youth he grew in the Lord, but in high school he became very stagnant in his walk with God. It was at Houghton College where Matt began to give everything over to the Lord. During this time God revealed more and more of His will to Matt, opening his eyes to see his gifts and passions.

After a semester of student teaching, Matt returned home for winter break and was asked a question: "If you could do anything with your life and get paid to do it, what would you do?"  Working with college students was, without a doubt, the immediate answer and, shortly after, Matt got connected with Campus Ambassadors at Worcester State. Matt knows that he is EXACTLY where God has called him to be. Matt has a heart for music, theology, and the divinely-inspired Word of God.

FAMILY
The oldest of three, Matt has a younger brother (Jon) and a younger sister (Caroline). His father has been pastoring the same church for 22 years, and his mother is a music teacher.
