FIELD
Mark has been appointed by Missions Door as a Campus Ambassadors Minister working with international students at Portland State University in Portland, Oregon.
He is involved with the Friday night coffee house ministry, working one-on-one with students and participating in activates that help form redemptive relationships with international students.
FAITH
Mark was led to the Lord at age 5 by his father. He was trained up in the church where his father was pastor and at home with love and discipline that allowed his faith to grow. As a result, he became very involved in the ministry of the church with children and youth.
Mark’s parents introduced him to missions early in life. Early in his teen years, God led him to serve Christ more publicly. As a result, he has been on several short-term mission trips and spent a school year in Kenya, Africa, teaching missionary children. While there he discovered that God had given him the ability to relate effectively to internationals.
FAMILY
Mark is the youngest of three children. His parents and two older sisters continue to serve the Lord. His father is a retired pastor, and his younger sister, with her husband and family, are WorldVenture missionaries in Germany.
