FIELD
In 1986 Andre was a firefighter in the Dominican Republic. Then in 2001 he moved to Jarabacoa to serve as the Missions Director in the De la Vega District. He received God’s call in 2006 to minister full time with international students in community development. 

Andre’s focus changed as a result of the work in the community, and in 2007, when a need for a Christian church emerged, he joined with Ministerio Bendición. 

Andre was appointed with Missions Door on November 6, 2008 as a church planter in Jarabacoa, Dominican Republic. He trains lay leaders and pastors in the region utilizing Theological Education by Extension.

FAITH
Andre grew up in a Catholic home and received Christ at the age of 10; but later confirmed his commitment to the Lord at the age of 18. 

Yohana grew up in a Christian home and received Christ at the age of 16.

FAMILY
Andre and Yohana met each other at the International Students Ministry in 2006 and got married in August 2008.
