FIELD
Since 1996 Arnold has been serving the Lord as pastor of A Place for Everyone Baptist Church in San Pedro Sula. He is a graduate of the Baptist Theological Institute and has a bachelor’s degree in theology. 

Nowadays he is president of the group of pastors in the Rivera Hernandez area. He’s been involved in many different ministries, such as starting a program to prevent youth from joining gangs, teaching theology at Christ the King school, coordinating the recreation program of Christian football for youth, starting a school for youth and adults, running a community outreach center program called Through my Neighborhood, and organizing evangelistic crusades, all aimed at reaching souls for Christ.

In his church, Arnold has been preparing leaders for missions. Three couples have been raised up and prepared for ministry to lead the four daughter churches in the San Pedro Sula area. Arnold also supervises, trains and encourages others to advance the Kingdom of God.

Arnold and Julia’s new vision is to plant new churches where there are no churches in Honduras: Puerto Cortes, Choloma, Omoa, Villanueva and others in the northwest part of the country. At this time, they are consolidating existing missions, traveling and studying the areas of Choloma and Puerto Cortes.

FAITH
Arnold was born in San Pedro Sula, Honduras. He had a dream in which he felt a call from God to serve Jesus Christ. This dream burdened him for a long time, but he resisted, because he had seen men who were Christians fail.

One day the pastor of the Baptist Church and missionary N.T. Dellinger invited Arnold to a home gathering and it was there that he gave his life to the Lord. It was Friday October 16, 1993. Arnold was baptized in December of that year, and in1994 he entered the Baptist Bible Institute. He was under a strong conviction to serve the Lord with all his heart wherever God guided him.

Julia met the Lord at the age of 10 at the Planet Baptist Church, where she served the Lord in Sunday school and youth discipleship, teaching and participating in the worship chorus. Now Arnold and Julia serve together in pastoral, missions, and women’s ministries.

FAMILY
Arnold and Julia met at the company where they both worked in 1995, while he was studying at the seminary and serving as a part-time pastor. Meanwhile Julia was serving in the areas of discipleship and worship, and they began a close friendship. Arnold and Julia were married in 1997 and have three beautiful children: Sarah Abigail, Arnold Josue, and Christopher David.
