FIELD
While a member of First Baptist Church of Los Mochis, Sinaloa, and under the care of Rev. Abelardo Rodríguez, Cenobio received the call of the Lord to the ministry.  

In 1982 Cenobio was ordained for ministry by Maranatha Baptist Church of Cuatatán, Mexico. Since 1978 he has worked as a pastor and church planter in several places in Mexico.  

Cenobio has been a teacher and mentor at the Nogales Baptist Seminary since 1999. In October 2006, Missions Door appointed him to mentor church-planting students as part of their practical service. In order to be an example to other students the Mendivil family is planting a new church in Nogales, Sonora, Mexico. Cenobio also functions as a legal consultant to the Conservative Baptist Mexican Fellowship, concerning church registrations and other legal issues. 

FAITH
Cenobio was born July 11, 1957, in Sinaloa, Mexico. He received Jesus when he was 17 years old, and was baptized the following year. 

FAMILY
Cenobio and Rosa Mendívil have three children: Rhode, Esdras and Nehemías.  

EDUCATION
B.A. in Theology with an emphasis in New Testament from Baptist Seminary in Lomas Verde/Mexico City. Sociology Studies at the National University in Mexico City.Psychology/Counseling Studies by extension/Universidad Nuestro Pacto Internacional
