Val and Steve Nordbye
FIELD
Val has ministered at Northern Arizona University, St. Cloud State University in Minnesota, the Harvard Graduate Schools, and most recently at Worcester State College, Quinsigamond Community College and Nichols College in Massachusetts.
In 1989 Val became a national resource person for Campus Ambassadors. She changed roles in 1992, becoming the Eastern Regional Campus Specialist and was appointed the National Campus Director in 2003. Along with her national responsibilities, she continues to do student campus ministry in the Worcester, Massachusetts area.
FAITH
Val grew up in an atheistic home. At age 12, while visiting her Christian grandparents, she accepted Christ.
Later, while attending Northern Arizona University, Val served in Campus Ambassadors’ student leadership. After graduating in 1978, she was appointed a Campus Ambassador by Missions Door.
Steve came to the Lord in college through the ministry of Campus Ambassadors.
FAMILY
Val and Steve, who was also on the Campus Ambassador staff, were married in 1981. They have two children: Erik and Kari.
