FIELD
Patrick and Debbie began with the Mission in 1989. As pioneer church planters, their dream was for new "chains of churches" in Western Honduras. During the next sixteen years, the O'Connors raised up, trained and mobilized Honduran men and women for what is now a new and vibrant movement of CB churches.
Having voluntarily worked themselves out of a job, Patrick and Debbie now set their sights on Asia and Beyond, to train nationals for church planting. They now leverage their experience, their call and their love for others in new harvest fields. Patrick and Debbie focus on raising up, training and mobilizing nationals for church planting. As they go into the needy harvest, come join them!
FAITH
As a child Patrick spent three years living in India, but without realizing the value of that cross-cultural experience. While studying business administration at the University of Houston, he saw there was more to life than financial success. He began to seek God, and accepted Christ as his Savior.
Patrick says, “My business training let me see that the wisest thing to do with my life would be to capitalize on it by investing myself in the lives of others.”
He met Debbie at Moody Bible Institute. She accepted Christ while a student at the University of British Columbia, and later spent a year and a half as a missionary in Mexico City.
