FIELD
Erwin has a passion to see the Kingdom of God advanced on earth and in the souls of people all around the world.  He currently serves as a worship leader together with his wife at Recovery House of Worship, Staten Island, New York, and is one of the leaders for the church plant in Union City, New Jersey.

Melissa also serves as the church's financial coordinator and administrative assistant. Together Erwin and Melissa have been called by God to plant a Recovery House church and a Recovery House center for abused women and abandoned children in Northern New Jersey. The Recovery House Center will stress daily application of fundamental Christian principles and will provide spiritual guidance, personal growth development, and a caring environment.

FAITH
Erwin grew up in church, but made a heart commitment to the Lord during his teens at a youth conference. His passion for worship at an early age shaped what would be his multifaceted approach to leading people into the presence of God with both dynamic worship and God’s Word.

Melissa also grew up in church but made a heart commitment to the Lord in her late 20s after meeting Pastor Raymond Ramos of Recovery House of Worship.

FAMILY
Erwin was born in Guayaquil, Ecuador, and came to the United States at the age of 3. He first lived with his Mom and Grandmother in a room at a Spanish church in Hoboken, New Jersey. This provided his early foundation for discovering God's will for his life in ministry. 

Erwin and Melissa met at a church coffee house event in Brooklyn, New York, and were later married in February 2010. They currently live in Union City, New Jersey, where they host a small group on Wednesday nights.

Erwin: B.S. in Business Administration from Montclair State University in Montclair, New Jersey
