Joe and Annie Shea
FIELD
Joe has a passion for evangelism, leading Bible studies and developing an apologetic to reach the next generation. Serving in the local church, he has held a position of leadership, worked with and trained other believers in evangelism, and served on the drama team.
He has ministered at numerous coffeehouses in the New England area, combining music with the message of the Gospel, to reach the lost. In addition Joe enjoys speaking at churches, teaching how to share Jesus with this generation.
Annie enjoys sharing the love of Jesus through hospitality. She cares for many students by welcoming them into her home and family circle and sharing wonderful home-cooked meals with them.
FAITH
Joe and Annie became Christians in their 20’s. When Joe, as a lay minister, attended his first retreat with college students and heard students share secrets that had long been hidden or suppressed, he knew in his heart he was seeing “a generation in need.”
This and other experiences led Joe to the conviction that he was being called to minister full time to this generation. Subsequently Joe left his career of 20 years as an engineering program manager and consultant to serve full time with Missions Door at Worcester State College in Central Massachusetts.
FAMILY
Joe and Annie were married in 1984. They enjoy the challenges of raising four young boys: Jeremiah, Joey, David and Samuel.
