FIELD
Faustino has served the Lord faithfully in Honduras since 1984. He’s been filling the role of pastor for the Conservative Baptist Church in Yoro (Iglesia Bautista Yoro) since that date. Faustino was appointed by Mission to the Americas as the Regional Director of the Honduran Extension Bible Institute under the supervision of Pastor Humberto Del Arca in 2006 over the Yoro area.

As Regional Director, he oversees and represents the 13 Conservative Baptist churches of his region, and promotes the vision to plant new churches using the principles of church-planting-by-extension — recruiting, discipling and training church planters.

FAITH
He grew up in a Catholic home in Jocón, Department of Yoro. God moved his heart to attend a Christian church by himself and there Faustino accepted Christ as his Savior in 1974. His wife, María, accepted the Lord in 1976.

FAMILY
God blessed them with seven children: Miriam, Jairo, Mariluz, Marcia, Leti, Faustino Irías and Noah.
