Campus

Service Area: Campus Ambassadors

Ministry Focus

Jessica became involved with Campus Ambassadors in the spring of 2019 and was appointed in March 2020 as a campus intern at the University at Buffalo in New York. She is looking forward to continuing to connect college students to a Christ-centered community while strengthening her relationship with God along the way. She has been able to point students to the Word by leading Sunday night Bible studies and small groups and has taken initiative by planning outreach events on campus.

Jessica has had first-hand experience with the struggles of finding a community of believers on campus. She believes her campus director, Sally Henien, was placed by God in her life to introduce her to Campus Ambassadors. Jessica is grateful she gets to be a part of a loving community that drives her closer to Christ.

Faith Story

Jessica grew up in a Christian household but struggled to find answers to questions she had about her faith. After falling away from her faith in high school, she was determined to reconnect with a community of believers when she enrolled at the University at Buffalo. Following her freshman year, she attended a summer retreat called Infusion through Campus Ambassadors and her faith was reignited. Since then, she has been committed to following God’s will for her life and is willing to go in whatever direction He guides her.

Family

Jessica grew up in a Christian household in New York City with her mom, stepdad and three cats.
