Sally currently ministers to students at University at Buffalo, New York, through Campus Ambassadors.
From a young age, Sally participated in several mission trips inside the U.S. and abroad to Asia and Africa, through The First Presbyterian Church in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
Seeking nonbelievers and sharing the Gospel all around the world is something she loves doing. God has given her a desire to minister to students in her hometown in the Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania, at the University at Buffalo, New York, or at a destination yet to be determined.
As a Campus Ambassadors Minister, Sally has the opportunity to evangelize and disciple students and have an impact on her community. She recognizes that God has a calling on her life and she desires to follow that call wherever it may take her.
Since 2009 Campus Ambassadors at the University at Buffalo has played an important part in Sally’s life. It has given her the opportunity to grow in her personal relationship with the Lord and pour out to others through her participation in the worship team, leading Bible studies and planting a women’s ministry house. This ministry house is off-campus housing designed to become a home away from home for female Christian students and recent grads who are intentional in growing their spiritual walk with the Lord.
Sally began this part of her ministry in 2012 and will continue maintaining and developing more homes throughout her years in ministry.
Sally knows that college is an important season in a young person’s life, where gaining independence and making choices is a serious endeavor. Students are choosing majors and questioning their purpose in life. God has given Sally a passion for reaching out to those who need guidance, love and support.
She is determined, through God’s wisdom and strength, to steer these students in the right direction.
Growing up, Sally attended church regularly and was passionate to learn more about God. Looking back at her life, she sees a renewal of her faith as the years have gone by. Her years at the University at Buffalo have tested that faith and have drawn her to a more personal and growing relationship with Jesus.
She may not remember the specific hour in which she surrendered her life, but she knows that through her involvement with Campus Ambassadors and her church family, her walk with Christ has grown.
Sally believes that her purpose is to be a light in the darkness and to challenge others to follow Jesus. It is her joy and blessing to follow him wherever he leads her.
Sally is thankful that she grew up in a Christian household where both of her parents, Samir and Naglaa, consistently pointed her and her two siblings, Shady and Sylvia, to Christ for their salvation.
