Bailey has been very active in ministry since high school. In high school he played on his church’s worship team and helped out with various children’s ministries. In college he volunteered with his church’s youth group and went to join the Young Life team. After carefully considering God’s will, Bailey felt led to make campus ministry his full time ministry.
Bailey wants to see a cooperative and conversational community of believers and non-believers that talk about and engage the gospel. Bailey is excited to challenge and inspire students at Oregon State University to participate and engage in ministry.
In 4th grade vacation bible school, Bailey accepted Jesus into his heart. He started going to youth group in the 7th grade and started to make God his priority over those next few years. Bailey was a music major in college and wanted to teach music. God decided Bailey was going to be a pastor and led Bailey out of music into a career of ministry and leading people to Jesus.
Bailey was raised in a home of Christian values. Bailey’s grandparents, Darrell and Lynn Mishler had a huge impact on Bailey, and always encouraged a life of following Jesus.
Bailey is a student currently seeking a bachelor’s degree in Communication and has intentions of studying towards a Master’s of Divinity.
