Tim and his wife Jessie work at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Connecticut, leading a group of students in growing closer to God, building a community of support for each other, and reaching the campus with the love of Jesus. They have a passion for working with Christians of all backgrounds, building on the common ground of Jesus.
Tim has been a small group leader since 2010 at Black Rock Congregational Church in Fairfield, Connecticut. He also mentored at Urban Impact for four years, and while at Alfred University he led an InterVarsity group of students as well.
Tim was raised in a Mennonite home and accepted Jesus at the age of 5. At 19, leaving home for the first time, Tim had a crisis of faith and turned his back on God. It took the love of a strong community of believers to show him the love of Jesus and to help him build his faith again.
Jessie was raised in the church. In college, she joined a large campus ministry and for the first time saw her brokenness and need for a Savior. She gave her life to Christ in the fall of her freshman year.
Tim and Jessie were married in 2002. They live in southern Connecticut with their two children: Lydia (2011) and Matthew (2014).
