Enfoque ministerial
As teenagers Craig and Megan each felt called by God to spend their lives working with young people. While they were college students at Moody Bible Institute they volunteered with the youth ministry at Calvary Memorial Church in Oak Park, Illinois. In 1999 Craig began to work as an intern with Calvary’s middle school ministry and in 2001 he began serving as their Pastor of Student Ministries. Then in 2007 Craig and Megan left Calvary and moved to Salem, Oregon to work with Campus Ambassadors at Willamette University. In the fall of 2018 Craig and Megan were approached to partner with a local faith based non-profit, the Salem Leadership Foundation, to pilot a school chaplaincy program in their local schools. After lots of prayer and counsel they decided to accept the offer and have been working as school chaplains since the summer of 2019.

Craig was born and raised in the Midwest, growing up in both Iowa and Michigan. Being a pastor’s kid, Craig grew up being very familiar with Christianity and put his faith in Jesus at a young age. As he continued to grow in his faith he began to see that God could use him to help others in their faith journeys. During his teenage years he sensed God might be calling him to a life of ministry so he decided to pursue this by attending the Moody Bible Institute in Chicago.
Megan was born and raised near Portland, Oregon and like Craig her dad was a pastor. She also grew up being very familiar with the Gospel and came to trust Jesus as her Savior at an early age. Megan grew up being very involved in her dad’s youth ministry and during her teenage years she sensed God calling her to ministry. After finishing high school she came to the Moody Bible Institute where she studied youth ministry.
