Enfoque ministerial
During the 2019-2020 school year, Morgan participated in a School of Ministry Program through Calvary Corvallis church. Part of that program included doing an internship with her local church, Monmouth Praise Assembly. During her internship, she had the opportunity to explore and work in many parts of the church including children’s, youth, young adults, and women’s ministry, community outreach, service planning and organization, and more. It was through that internship that she was connected with Campus Ambassadors at Western Oregon University. After praying about it and being encouraged by Richard Feredinos to join the Campus Ambassadors staff, she was officially appointed in May 2020. She will be working on the Western Oregon University campus with CA during the 2020-2021 school year. Her vision is to help see students grow a lasting relationship with the Lord in their college life and then beyond.
Historia de fe
Growing up, Morgan attended church with her family. While in elementary school, her family spent a few years growing and pastoring a church plant. It was during this time that Morgan decided to commit her life to Christ and was baptized. While in high school she went on a few different missions trips through varying organizations and felt her heart being pulled in that direction. When she was in college, she wanted to continue to make her faith a priority and did this by connecting with a college bible study group at Praise Assembly Church in Monmouth. This led her to the Harriet House, a Christian college home for women run by Praise Assembly. After her first year of college, Morgan moved into the Harriet house where she lived for four years. During her years at the House, she had the opportunity to grow her relationship with the Lord and with other Christian girls. It was during her time in the house, living with girls who came from all different backgrounds and experiences, that she learned what it meant to love your neighbor as yourself, or in this case your roommate. She plans to utilize her connections with the House this next school year as she continues to work in college ministry.
Educación
Morgan attended college at Western Oregon University in Monmouth Oregon where, in the spring of 2020, she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. At the same time, she also received a certificate of completion from Cornerstone School of Ministry at Calvary Corvallis.
