Ecuador Earthquake Relief

Updates | Stories | Lives Changed

The news is devastating.

On the cusp of expanding Missions Door’s ministry to Ecuador, a 7.8 magnitude earthquake shook the country on April 16.

Among nearly 450 deaths reported so far, 30 individuals from our affiliate churches have lost their lives.

The call for ministry support is urgent.

Our missionary candidate in Ecuador, Pablo Guachilema, also reports that three affiliate churches were destroyed, and hundreds from these churches are now homeless.

The road ahead brings many challenges as people begin to recover and heal. Nearly half of the country’s population is under the age of 25, so young people will especially feel the weight of this burden.

In the midst of this tragedy, Missions Door has the opportunity to come alongside our brothers and sisters to provide help and hope in Christ. Will you join us?

Through the Ecuador Earthquake Relief Fund, you can help our affiliate churches and families begin to rebuild.

Please make a special gift today.

Also, join us in prayer for the families who are mourning the loss of their loved ones and for the rescue and recovery process that lies ahead.

We're better together!
