Ministry Focus
Devynn was appointed to the Mission as a field minister with Damascus Road Church in Tucson, Arizona in 2019. She serves as their Lead Campus Pastor at the University of Arizona. She trains and equips students to become disciples who make disciples. She regularly hosts non christians in her home, meets with students for coffee on campus, and organizes outreach events to reach the campus. Her favorite part of ministry is one-on-one mentoring with young women. Additionally, Devynn serves on the Damascus Road teaching team and worship team. In this new chapter, Devynn is excited to see how God will shape her as a leader and seeks to influence the college campus in creative ways.
Faith Story
When Devynn started college, she had no idea what God had planned or how much He would change her heart. Through her school years, she learned that God is so close, always wanting to reveal Himself. Devynn grew more tender-hearted, compassionate, and brave. She says, “Each part of myself that I have surrendered to God, He has turned into something healthy and beautiful.”
Family
Raised in a Christian home, Devynn’s family built her foundation in faith. She was baptized as a young child but chose to be baptized again at Damascus Road Church on December 11, 2016, to reaffirm her commitment to serving the Lord. She is now a 4th-generation pastor.
Education
Devynn graduated from the University of Arizona with a degree in International Relations in December of 2018. She also completed Missions Door's staff training and was ordained in 2023. She will begin seminary classes online in the summer of 2026.
