Misgana Demeke

Ministry Focus

Misgana reaches out to refugees from different countries in Lusaka, Uganda. She teaches and disciples those who have given their lives to Christ in the church where she serves as a pastor. She also counsels refugees who are living in very desperate situations.

Faith Story

Misgana was born and raised in a devout Christian family where prayer, Bible study, and fellowship were given priority. She attended foundational Christian teachings at the church her family went to, and at the age of 14 she gave her life to Christ and was baptized. She began serving the Lord in that church by joining the choir team.

As she grew closer to Christ, God placed a strong calling on her heart, and she began praying for others by joining the prayer ministry in her church. Over time, she sensed her calling more strongly and began reaching unreached people with great passion. Together with other ministers, she started working in outreach and evangelism.

Currently, Misgana serves the Lord as a missionary in the refugee community in Lusaka, Uganda. In addition to this, she is responsible for leading the Ethiopian and Eritrean church, Christ Life Faith Church.

Education

Misgana holds a Certificate in Bible Studies from Grace Bible College in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, and an Associate Degree in Accounting from Admas College, also in Addis Ababa. She also earned an Associate Degree in Practical Theology from Victory Bible College.

She is currently studying Theology online at Reformation Bible College in the UK. In addition, she has completed trainings on missions through the School of Christ in Ethiopia, along with several others.
