Gus has a burden for the hearts and souls of men. He has developed a ministry exclusively geared to encouraging, empowering, and equipping men to trust God with their lives. He currently serves as the associate pastor of three church plants. Both Gus and Liz serve faithfully at the New Baptist Temple where they facilitate small group Bible studies, do outreach in the local community, and provide family care to the congregation. Liz serves the women with a heart flowing with the love of Christ. She's led worship and sung in the music ministry. Liz also has a heart for serving in the soup kitchen as she provides a hot meal, warm smile, and encouraging words about Jesus' love for all. Both their teenage children serve in ministry and as a family they are active members of The New Baptist Temple.
Gus and Liz came to the Lord in 1990 during a difficult and trying time when God whispered his faithfulness into their lives.

Families view education as essential to the pursuit of happiness, if not also a path to wealth and power for the most ambitious. Yet Americans also demonstrate a charitable spirit of generosity toward neighbors and nations in need.
Freedom of religion grants opportunity for all faiths, but Christianity holds particular influence in country's history and daily life.
