NW CA Mission Trips

Project Profile

Ministry Focus

This spring break, the Northwest Campus Ambassadors will send a team of students and staff to partner with Missions Door missionary Larisa Craig, who faithfully serves rural communities in Nevada. Through participation or financial support, individuals will directly invest in gospel work and tangible care in areas that are often overlooked and under-resourced.

The team consists of students and staff from Campus Ambassadors ministries across the Northwest, including Oregon State University, Western Oregon University, Willamette University, Chemeketa Community College, and Central Washington University. Together, they aim to come alongside local churches and community members to serve, encourage, and build lasting relationships, with hopes of returning annually.

During their time in Goldfield, Tonopah, and Beatty, the team will:

  • Lead children’s Bible clubs and outreach activities

  • Assist local churches with ministry needs

  • Serve elderly residents through practical help and relational support

The goal of the trip is not only to serve but also to learn—by listening to the needs of these communities, supporting ongoing local ministries, and growing in faith through shared service.

Travel Details:
Group travel will depart from Corvallis, Oregon, at 6:00 a.m. on March 21, 2026, and return to Corvallis on the evening of March 27.

Campus Ambassadors express gratitude for those who partner with them through prayer, participation, and financial support as they seek to share the love of Christ with the people of rural Nevada.
