Urgent Prayer for Ukrainian Missionaries

Updates | Stories | Lives Changed

We are asking for prayer for our Ukrainian missionaries, Alexander and Svetlana Moseychuk.

At 4 a.m. this morning, Thursday February 24th, Russia invaded Ukraine. Alexander reports that Russian rockets have attacked many Ukrainian cities and airports. On the front lines, over fifty people have already died. Alexander’s church and home is in Bakhmut, around 12 miles away from the front lines.

Alexander has been ministering to Ukrainians impacted by ongoing war with Russia since 2014, providing them food, clothing, and the gospel. His church was seized by Russian soldiers in 2018 and he moved his ministry to Bakhmut.

As indigenous missionaries, the Moseychuks cannot evacuate their country. Please pray for their safety, that they may minister to Ukrainians during this frightening time, and for Ukraine. You can donate to the Ukraine Impact Ministry Fund and the Moseychuk’s ministry.

Missions Door is committed to supporting our Ukrainian missionaries. We are currently in communication with the Moseychuck’s and are covering them in prayer. We will do everything we can to help meet the needs that arise both personally and in ministry through our Missions Door network.
