Ministry Focus
Simon is currently serving as a pastor. When God revealed His calling in his life, he began preaching under a tree, despite those around him considering him to be unreasonable or misguided. Nevertheless, he remained undeterred by such opinions. Together with his wife, he continued to sing and preach faithfully under the tree until God began to draw people to gather in that same place.
His current focus is to shepherd and care for the church while faithfully proclaiming the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ, with the desire of bringing more people into the Kingdom of God. In addition, his vision and goal are to establish and plant more churches within his community, throughout his country, and beyond its borders.
Simon gives thanks to God that what began as a humble gathering under a tree has now grown into a congregation of believers, and to this day, many continue to come to know Jesus Christ.
Faith Story
Born into a Christian family, Simon's parents faithfully took him to church. From a young age, his Sunday school teachers instructed him in the Word of God, nurturing his spiritual growth and foundation in the Lord.
In 1990, he made a personal decision to give his life to Jesus Christ and was baptized by full immersion in water. During his school years, he demonstrated leadership by serving as a Christian and spiritual leader among his peers until he completed his studies.
His wife, Agnes, began attending their church around 1996, often accompanying her sister to Sunday services. Through her consistent attendance, God worked in her heart, leading her to accept Jesus Christ as her Savior. She was also baptized by full immersion, and since then, they have faithfully served together for the advancement of God’s Kingdom.
Through friends who were familiar with Missions Door, God led him into ministry with the organization. He believes that Missions Door will play a significant role in bringing positive transformation to his church, community, and country, as well as beyond national borders. He is confident that through this partnership, more souls will be reached for Jesus Christ.
Education
Simon was born in 1971 and began his primary education in 1982, which he completed in 1988. From 1989 to 1992, he attended secondary school. After completing his secondary education, he returned home and assisted his pastor in ministry work.
In 1997, he married his wife, Agnes, and together they have been blessed with five children. In 1998, they began their ministry by preaching and worshiping under a tree. Despite facing criticism and being regarded by some as unrealistic in their efforts, he and his wife remained steadfast and committed to their calling.
Through perseverance and faith, their humble beginnings grew into an established congregation, bringing glory to God. To this day, many people continue to come to faith in Jesus Christ through their ministry.
In 2002, he attended the International School of Christ in Nairobi, Kenya, where he earned a certificate in missions. From 2003 to 2005, he studied at the William Carey School of World Mission and received an Advanced Diploma. Later, from 2013 to 2015, he attended Grace International Bible University in Monrovia, Liberia, where he obtained a Bachelor of Theology. He continued his studies at the same institution from 2016 to 2019, earning a Master of Divinity.
