Ministry Focus
Pastor Workneh will conduct a Leadership Development/Church Planting training in the new church in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Pastor Workneh’s church in Boston launched Salvation Rock International Church (SRIC) a year ago and are continuing to foster growth and development in the congregation. New church leaders, as well as up to eight additional churches in Ethiopia that are networking with SRIC, will benefit greatly from this training.
Pastor Workneh (left) and Solomon Getachew (right), a missionary going with him, will be providing two months of vital training that strengthens the leadership and multiplicative-ability of these city churches in Ethiopia. Attending church leaders will learn how to complete urban ministry, which is a critical skill in their context.
The Ethiopian churches (EDC, and others) have already raised nearly half the funds necessary for this training. We are now raising the additional $7000 for this Ethiopia Ministry Trip in January and February of 2018.
